Find My Device is an Android application that allows users to pinpoint the location of their device. If your device has been lost or stolen, it's now easier than ever to know exactly where it has went.

The app communicates with Google Maps API in order to secure user access to their phone's geographic data and location. By relying on the robust Google mapping service, the tracking feature of the app remains highly accurate at all times. Even if the phone is in motion on a busy bus or car, its location will automatically update on screen.

In order to ease the process of finding your device, the app allows you to play a loud alarm sound through the device when you're nearby. For instance, if your device is nestled between couch cushions, it's easy to immediately locate it once you're in the area.

Additionally, Find My Device is very safe to use. The only way for you to use the app is to have login access to your Google account. This means that others using the app won't be able to locate your phone without access to your sensitive passcodes.

However, the app isn't an all-in-one solution. Some users wish that the app would allow them to lock their phone from a distance. Unfortunately, it's also not possible to locate the device if it's fully turned off or dead.
